NeoForge is a free, open-source, community-focused Minecraft modification API (1.21.4, 1.20.1). It makes installing a variety of Minecraft modifications quite simple.

Internal conflicts forced the Forge Team members—aside from the founder—to split off and form a new team to work on NeoForge, a new modloader. Although NeoForge has been a fork of Minecraft Forge since version 1.20.1, it became fully independent with version 1.20.2. The team now formally supports players of the most recent versions of Minecraft under the moniker NeoForge. Renowned mod makers have started using NeoForge in their modifications after seeing its benefits over Minecraft Forge.

• One of NeoForge’s main features is the event system. Events are fired for various things that happen in the game.
